To begin, Regency’s expert installers removed a wall between the kitchen and family room, providing space for a cleverly-designed island.
Next, most of the upper cabinets were removed, and the walls covered with Daltile’s white beveled subway tile, giving the room an expansive, open feel. Custom floating shelves were mounted for a modern storage solution. Visual interest was added by using the same tile in a herringbone pattern over the stove. The lower cabinets were replaced with Regency’s white shaker cabinets, with the island in grey, all coordinating with the classic grey stain on the Red Oak hardwood floors.
Modern stainless steel appliances from ABT added a just-right shine, and Daltile’s OQ10 Statuary Stratus quartz counters topped it all, with a matching custom quartz lazy susan created for the island.
